Arboviral infections, such as dengue, Zika, and chikungunya, remain a major public health concern in Puerto Rico. Despite this, the evolving burden of chronic conditions within these infections has not been well characterized.
This study aims to address this gap by examining how hypertension prevalence has changed across epidemic periods and infection types by using SEDSS data ranging from 2012 to 2025.
